ROPOS takes a suction sample

ROPOS takes a suction sample of the sediment from the sea floor. The sample can later be tested by researchers for composition and checked for any small organisms that may have been sucked up along with the sediment. A Dungeness crab, Cancer magister, and a spot prawn, Pandalus platyceros, investigate.
