The DMAS team are having issues with their file archiving processes and servers. There was a major failure early this morning and as a result our live data applet on the homepage is showing data lagging significantly, our Data Plots are not updating and data can’t be requested from the Download Data page. Raw Files from October 25, 27, 29, 30 2012 have not been archived and scalar data are significantly behind. The Systems team hasn’t confirmed whether or not these data have been lost or if it resides in the buffer.
Data Access from NEPTUNE Canada are also affected by this failure. Please see http://www.neptunecanada.ca/ for updates.
Most of the DMAS issues that occurred yesterday have been resolved. Data have caught up, no data were lost, our data plots are updating and data are available for request for our Download Data page. Raw files are still getting ingested into the database, so data from our complex devices (ADCP, ZAP, Nortek) from October 25, 27, 29, 30, 31 and November first are still unavailable.
