Orca vocalizations recorded on October 3, 2011 in Strait of Georgia

While the VENUS Team was at sea in Strait of Georgia near the Delta Dynamics site on Monday October 3 2011 (PDT), they came across a pod of Orcas! Our Hydrophone Array at 170m depth in east Strait of Georgia was still functional at the time and captured the event! This is an example of spectra and audio featuring sounds from the Orca pod.
