Marine Life in Saanich Inlet

While servicing VENUS during the October cruise, as usual, we captured imagery of the marine life at depth. In the image is a Tanner Crab, captured at 100m in Saanich Inlet. Two green dots in the image are the scaling laser beams. Set at 10cm apart the laser is used to assess the size of objects on the seafloor.
