May Cruise Complete!

The VENUS Cruise was completed on May 14 2011 and the online team has been busy updating the website with data products from new devices.

Strait of Georgia East (170m) is back online outfitted with a SeaBird CTD, Aanderaa Oxygen Optode, ASL ZAP, and an RDI 150kHz ADCP.

We redeployed the Delta Dynamics Laboratory (DDL) platform (an NRCan science project) in Strait of Georgia at 107m with:
- 2 WetLabs devices (S/N’s 1325 and 901)
- SeaBird CTD 4997
- RDI 300kHZ ADCP 2940
- ASL ZAP 1009
- Nortek Vectrino 463
- Webcam
- Imagenex Sector and Profile sonars
- ParoScientific Depth Sensor
- Instrument Concepts Hydrophone

In addition to our standard suite of instruments in Saanich Inlet, we added an OSU Nortek Vector system and we now have 3 oxygen sensors collecting data.

The Strait of Georgia Central 300m array was left untouched, so data are still flowing in from this site.

Hydrophone arrays were deployed in Strait of Georgia at 170m and 300m but data are not available for downloading yet.

Data can be viewed in the Data Plots section and downloaded from the Download Data Interface.
