Between December 7 – 14 2010, the VENUS team performed maintenance on the Saanich Inlet (100m) and Strait of Georgia Central (300m) arrays. Strait of Georgia Central is now back online with data flowing in from SeaBird CTD 16+ 4686, Aanderaa Optode 581, RDI ADCP 150kHz WH (SN 8497), Nortek Vector Current Meter 4594, Technicap Sediment Trap PPS-24 02 and the Axis 214 PTZ Webcam.
Unfortunately, our hydrophone array failed shortly after deployment so we only collected data between 2010-Dec-12 and 2010-Dec-14. But, archived hydrophone data are available for downloading using our Multimedia Interface.
Scalar time series data are updated regularly and can be viewed on the Data Plots page.
SeaBird CTD 16+ 4686, Aanderaa Optode 581 and RDI ADCP 150kHz WH (SN 8497) data can be downloaded using our Download Data interface.
We also have a live stream to the Axis 214 PTZ Webcam: http://venus.uvic.ca/data/camera-stream/ – science groups are currently setting up a schedule that we will post online. Images from the Axis 214 PTZ Webcam will be available in the Multimedia Interface soon.
