Following the successful re-deployment of the upgraded Strait of Georgia Central Node pod, the East Node pod has been recovered and returned to OceanWorks. Re-deployment of the upgraded East Node pod is scheduled for late February 2011.
The Node pod upgrades will increase both the science capacity and long term reliability of the VENUS Coastal Network.
