BC Ferries in Outflow

At peak flow in June, the outflow of the Fraser River brings a large plume of sediment into the Strait of Georgia. This sediment affect plankton, water conditions and the formation of the subsea delta front. Soon, VENUS will put instruments on the ferries to provide data on surface water conditions.
