Vancouver Aquarium – Scientists at the University of Victoria have opened to the public the world’s first interactive, real-time portal to the ocean. The Victoria Experimental Network Under the Sea (VENUS) facility is now hosted on a new website (www.venus.uvic.ca), giving scientists and the general public access to a constantly expanding collection of images, sounds and live data from the ocean floor.
